Position Description
Product Marketing Manager
Summary. The Product Marketing Manager is the
development of product marketing strategies and processes for Ulanji. This include
product commitments, pricing, P&L analysis, and reviews of competitive,
technology, regulatory and environmental issues that confront the
company’s product set in the market place.
Responsibilities.
- Platform
Roadmap development
- Marketing
programs for Ulanji Platform
- Management
of Product Line P&L.
- Ulanji
Product and Services development and administration including pricing
Duties.
1. Coordinate
Ulanji resources including Development, Sales, Marketing, Support
to develop and manage the Ulanji Platform roadmap.
2. Define
technical requirements and product specifications for assigned projects.
3. Manage
creation of initial product documentation that can be used as a basis for all
product information by Marketing, Training and Operations
4. Act
as vendor contact for assigned projects
5. Manage
rollouts for internet products to include:
a. Verification
that internal system changes are in
b. Verification
that all user documentation needs are met.
c. Providing
product training to Operations division, Sales, Sales Support and Training
d. Supervision
of tech support during beta testing of new products
6. Work
with Sales Partners and other sales channels to determine technical
requirements for Platform Roadmap or other potential projects (not yet
approved) that focus on IP and Value Added products and services
7. Coordinate
development and support of new hardware and software enhancements for the
Ulanji Platform including shopping carts, user interface and other components
of the platform and the Ulanji portfolio.
8. Assist
with administrative duties within Product Management
9. Keep
informed of industry qualifications, regulations, and network requirements as
well as competitive, trechnology and regulatory trends.
10. Clear
understanding of Ulanji Platform 4.0 to expert status.
11. Clear
understanding of Ulanji Platform 3.6.
12. Understanding
of services provided by other service providers including, but not limited to
telephony, dial up access, broadband access and others.
13. Overflow
assistance for telephones and other incoming contact
14. Strong user
status on base MS Office applications including MS Word, MS Excel and MS
Powerpoint
15. Development
of End User documentation related to Ulanji Platform 4.0
16. Assistance
in customer support and relationship management as necessary.
17. Reporting
as required including, at a minimum the following monthly reports:
a. Monthly
Summary Report
b. Product
Line P&L Status
c. 30
– 90 – 180 – 360 lookahead for Product Roadmaps, and
environmental outlook (TRI)
18. Cross train
assigned individual(s) in the performance of these responsibilities and be
cross trained as assigned.
19. Act with
the highest degree of integrity and professionalism including an understanding
and acceptance of the Ulanji 3-5-7.

Experience. 2-4 years sales of
product management or technical marketing experience. Prefer IP, communications, or software
applications background.
Education. Two year college
degree minimum – four year degree preferred.

Compensation. This position is structured as an FTE
position with a base salary and incentive program. The incentive opportunity will be
offered and defined by the offices of the corporation at the appropriate time, but
is expected to be based upon individual achievement and corporate achievement.
