The catalog manager is used to display either products or services. Displays include descriptions, images, prices and related products or services. The standard catalog:
- Category webpages that can show a list of products or services associated with that specific category. This list of each item in the list can be linked to their corresponding detail pages. Category includes an image, name and description. You can organize categories into sub-categories to any depth required.
- Produce product or service detail pages, including name, short description, long description, images, related products, related people, price, etc.
- Extend the catalog to include more information or fields (i.e. color or size)associated with categories of products or services or individual items.
- Allow the visitor to make choices on what to buy (colors, sizes, etc.).
- Search the catalog based on keywords, min/max price, categories, etc.
- Associate different page designs or layouts with different items.
- Associate one or more images with a product or service.
