A local chapter of national non-profit organization
The St. Paul’s chapter of Rebuilding Together is part of the largest volunteer home rehabilitation organization in America. On National Rebuilding Day, thousands of volunteers nationwide help repair homes for elderly, disabled, and low-income families.
The homes are selected through a careful screening process. Applicants must be located in the St. Paul’s region, must own their own homes, must be unable to do the work themselves and must be willing to cooperate with the event schedule.
Volunteers and family members of homeowners work together to restore roofs, complete new kitchens, bathrooms, carpets, flooring, painting and a little yard work.
