This photographic and multimedia exhibit, showcasing the work of Charleston’ s most prominent photographers, depicts the faces of homelessness as well as those in our community who help. Gail Smith, Executive Director of Crisis Ministries makes these observations. “ We are pleased to present to this community a realistic view of homelessness and to tell this story through the eyes of those who experience it and through the eyes of those who interpret our world with images. The major theme Who among us? is clearly illustrated in the selection of subjects, which include homeless men, women and children, in addition to individuals who serve this population either as staff members or volunteers. There are no noticeable distinctions, leaving us to wonder, who is who?”
